Chris is a Professional Golfer, Motivator, Community Leader, Entrepreneur, Educator, Philanthropist, ambassador, spokesperson and catalyst. He’s also CEO & Founder of “The Darby Foundation” whose mission is to create exposure and life long learning and fun in the world of Golf for our youth. He’s received more than 15 awards and nominations as it relates to golf, community service and leadership & many more. Chris was also named “One of the Most Amazing Men” by Southern University and USL in Louisiana where he attended.

Having an opportunity to got to New York and pursue my dream as a pro golfer & qualify at the U.S. Open. I thought that I had a contract set, but when I got there. There was NO MONEY. So I ended up having to sleep in my car, had no money and had left my family back in Layfayette to pusue my dreams, so it was a very tough time for me, but I had to figure out how to get my self out of this situation.
Entrepreneurial “Light Bulb” Moment
We all have a product. Golf was and is my product, but how do you get that product int the schools. So I had to get creative, and decided to host career days at schools. With that action and persistence, I was able to get golf into the schools here in this area in New York and now we launching a global effort. With Global Career Empowerment Summits all over the country an abroad.
